Other Hardware / open loop galvos

I am looking for a set of open loop galvos like the ones in the link.

I used to see them on ebay.  But don't want to pay midwest 195 bucks.  crap for that you can get cheap o 20pps closed loop.

anyone know of a good source?

Lasers / ALC 60X for sale?

Hello all.

I have a ALC60X that I no longer use.  I know with the DPSS stuff out there the price of Argon may have dropped. 

I will post photos of the system as soon as i can.  but for now here is what I have.

A Rebuild (Evergreen laser did the work)  ALC60X, New tube. (about 10 hours on it) with 60cm optics.  The tag from Evergreen reads 160mw at 6.5 amps.  Also they placed a new starter board in the laser as well.

I have the laser mounted in the OEM Xerox case with OEM fan.  It has the handles etc, and a plate in the front for mounting Galvos or

I have the power cord, and a blow up old POS power supply.  That has been rebuild time and time again. 

The laser is in the Xerox shipping box, (big old padded box) and can ship power supply if wanted.

I don't really want to sell.  but I can't find a power supply to save my life.  At least one that does not cost over 500 bucks

So looking to sell or trade.

If there is a interest I will dig it out and take photos.

But here are some laser photos of when the power supply worked...

Laser Enthusiasts Meetings / Hello, new to the board...

Hello all.

I am new to this board, and very glad that it is here.  I have been into lasers for quite some time now.  Never really advancing into the hobby as far as I would like to have gone.  I started into the laser hobby around 1998.  I have not done much since 2004.  My job, and family takes most of my time. 

The gear I have is.
ALC-60X brand new rebuild from evergreen lasers.  (dead power supply.  it is old, and blows the output transistors.  So looking for new one, even a gold box would be killer)
25mw hene
redline beanscan controller/galvo head.
shinp DL-55C

I know that a lot has changed from the time I as into this hobby.  I have build galvos, and amps from scratch.  (cnc mill and lots of time winding)  But I am done with that sort of stuff now seeing that the price has dropped a lot.

I look forward to reading the post on the forum.
