This is exactly the kind of thing that would addapt nicely into a live laser abstract generator.

Good find.

I really like the fact that not only does it draw the cycloid, but it also shows you how it is derived with circles and the polar coordinate system.

How about asking "Lazarus" on PL how he made his abstract generator for LFI player, it works really well IMO :)

Actually, isn't LFI open source? Maybe an idea for Gary to add to Spaghetti/Wet Noodles :)
