Look everybody!

It's yet another one of those "lame" LaserBoy DACs that's single ended and doesn't work for shit, that was apparently designed and developed by everyone who's ever pronounced the word 'laser' correctly.

This one was made to be a complete disappointment for satje. With a bit of luck, it will ruin his laser projector and crush his hopes of ever becoming a successful laserist.

Unfortunately, this one doesn't look particularly gay at all.

Well, I sent my first hand made LaserBoy DAC to The Netherlands today.

In 5 to 10 business days, all of Europe will crumble under the crushing oppressive power that is LaserBoy!

That looks great James.
How did you get the signal from the sound card to the amp?
My guess is you drilled a hole in both cases in the same spot to create a pass through for the wires.

Yes. Of course you're right!

You can't see it in these pictures because it's a bit under and behind the stereo pot in the first one and completely under the amp pcb in the second one.

I use a special glue made just for plastic, with solvent and monomer. The plastic boxes are actually chemically welded together as one!

I'm getting one item a day....

I ordered all kinds of parts from all different vendors to be able to make a bunch of these LaserBoy LaserBoxes and I seem to be getting them one at a time.
