Thanks for the report, I have submitted a false positive inquiry to them.  We'll see how long it takes to get on the white list.

if you dont have this dll
ShApiUtil.dll
on your system then you can be sure its a false positive, so check just to be sure its not caused by some previous infection

Whats really going on is Dr.Lava has hidden spyware in his software to keep tabs on all of us.
He thinks we're all out to get him. He records all conversations and I've heard he sleeps with tin foil on his head too.

Right now he's cloning a Mini-Lava.

Ok, got a reply from Microsoft..

Quote
he Microsoft Malware Protection Center (MMPC) has investigated the following file(s) which we received on 3/18/2010 8:15:51 AM Pacific Time.
Below is the determination for your submission.

========
Submission

  Submitted Files
  =============================================
  LaserCam.zip [Not Malware]
  +---LaserCam.exe [Not Malware]

========

Detections listed above are included in the latest pre-release signatures and made available

I don't know how they do their signatures but they should be file name independent and build version independent so hopefully that will solve it for you Gadget when you get their update.

You been deemed [Not Malware] by the world's largest producer of [Malware].

That's pretty impressive!

First you get the standard 'Pangolin did it like 10 years ago' and now this!

LaserCam is really going places!  ;D
