I took a picture of Terry with my cell phone and I really liked it, so I poster printed it across 6 pages, very faded gray scale on a laser (dry black powder toner) printer. I glued that onto a piece of Masonite board and totally painted over the whole thing.

This is my first attempt at painting a portrait or any other kind of realism for that matter! I can honestly say though that I knew a lot about what to do and how to do it, in both color and form techniques, from my experiences with abstracts.

I think it turned out awesome!

 It's too bad this forum is so slow these days... Not too many will be present to see your fine work.
 I'm just a little curious as to your choice of subject material though, in light of recent events. :o
