DXF
files came from AutoCAD and are now generic. There are many
applications that will allow you to draw in vector graphics and save
your work as DXF.
Some laser applications can open DXF files and make them into legitimate laser art.
The '
generic'
file format specifically designed for laser art is called ILDA
(International Laser Display Association) and has an extension of
.ild .
Ummmmmmmmmm.......
not to press the issue, but have you downloaded LaserBoy and tried it
yet? Even if you don't have a sound card DAC, it is still a very useful
application for any kind of laser art.
Oh yea.... I almost forgot......
