Title: Any Recomendations?

405nm 120mW  $99.00
532nm 60mW  $69.00
650nm 150mW  $45.00

I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations?

I was thinking about ordering Norms RGB Diode Driver and ordering diodes along with maybe the FlexMod2.

This is for my Projector project.

I use the FlexMod Drivers on all of my lasers including the 532nm.
I went with (2) 803T 405nm diodes and used a PBS to combine them. Considering how sensitive these diodes are, I would rather pop a $12 diode than a $99. A PBS will last forever (unless you drop it) diodes don't.

Head is spinning so many choices out there...

On one hand it would be exciting to build a heat sink.. wire them all up with FLEXMOD's and maybe norms RGB driver...

On the other hand... it would be cool to plug them in and go.. LOL

what is this pbs business all about?
im having a dificult time figuring it out. and where to get lasers for 12$ sounds like fantasy :-)

i think i worked it out:
its an optic cube that either splits or merges two beams to one vice versa.
in that way you could use two cheap lasers to get the same output as an expensive laser. nice idea!!!

PBS stands for polarizing beam splitter. It is a glass cube. It can be used to either split one beam into two or join two beams into one. If you want to join two beams, they must be strongly polarized. You mount the lasers so that one is polarized vertically and the other horizontally. You shoot them into adjacent side of the cube and the combined beam comes out of the opposite side of one of the input beams. A PBS cube can combine laser beams with almost no loss of power.
