OK, so the Heat Sinks screw to the bottom of the board, and the P3 Drivers are Heat sinked and double insulated and heat sink greased to the Heat Sinks.. going out to a .1 " connector carrying +12V GND Modulation+ and Interlock.
cross connect board takes ILDA 25 pin, and takes +RGB and gnd from there and feeds thru the jumper block, jumper block also has +5 Test mode, which it is in right now. +12 GND and +5 coming in screw terminals.
I tested the interlock and got a red light when I opened the jumper. Put the Jumper back and it did not recover, took a power recycle to release the lost interlock.

Update Marc came over and showed me how to assemble diodes into modules, now I really want to get the new DrLava drivers so I can make dual red, and drive green as well. I think I'm going to go with a 100mw CNI Green http://lasershowparts.com/store/index.php?_a=viewCat&catId=51. If there is a another favorite out there let me know. For now I will see what these cheap 100-200mw pointer ones do and PCAOM blank it if I can. That blue is sooo powerful! makes my 30mw Greeny look like faint dot next to it. http://www.inprox.net/laser_projector. I am using the NML 85% dicros and they are damn good compared to the old 99% ones I have. Looking forward to the Build! My pangolin card is out for repair.. hope fully Hayden will have that fixed next week.

What I got so far I bought spares, so as long as I get at least one going, I know where to order to duplicate. Can't find any red PBC now. Considering Combining Blue..

I havn't been this excited in years.. I thought I was excited with getting RGV.. They are for real.. now to see if we can buy the replacement blue diode Laser Cartridge.. as it is removable... with all 24 Diodes in it

Source for $100 445nm the gods are smiling on us!
I am donating a 3/8" x 24" x 36" plate tapped with 1" on center 1/4" 20 standard optics table (un anodized) that James said he can cut up for this project. Now this plate was partially tapped by OSR so some holes were stripped.. we put the thing on a bridge port with thread tapping head.. he still stripped holes somehow. But anyway it is in good shape.
I'll be back in Cleveland Tomorrow.. hopefully all my packages have arrived.
Still lacking Laser66 style barrels. got lots of ones from lasersurplusparts.com the big black ones.. won't work with the heat sinks.
I am looking forward to designing a Atmel based TEC, I've got a very extensive Developer kit based on the AT128 Looking forward to finally getting to use it for something useful.
good dicro stock is about $100 per sqin and about the same for mirrors.. another $100-$200 in optical mechanical. $50-150 in a nice case, Power Supplier... what else?

I got several 532nm coming in from dealextreme.com from 20mw to 200mw sure they are junk but didn't spend much, enough for testing and blowing up. I can't get the laser66.com to respond to me email to get the housings.
Interested in the scanners but are they really 30k.. maybe one set to start or video of a set... 12k is good enough for beams

I'm out of town leaving Tuesday be back on the 5th of June, probably going to take the diodes down to my EE in NC (Dad) to assemble and test the first run of parts. Red cubes have become scarce, keep an eye out for them lasersurplussales.com has some good deals on red/violets and sleds with all the diodes.

Bought some stuff from lasersurplusparts.com $10 658nm diodes a few lens and a few DVD sleds with both 405 and 658 diodes. Pretty much I am down to PBS cube for red (can't find any forsale 4 went on ebay from UK) but no new auctions.
That and the Drivers.. Need drivers!

I'm pretty sure dichros that are available today in reflect red will be fine for diode 650-ish nm.
I don't think there will be an issue with the reflect blue at 445nm. They are commonly in use with 473nm.
Unfortunately, I don't have a BlueRay or a red diode laser anymore, so I can't test the dichros I have.
Same here if I bought the Diodes and the drivers.. I need the expert to fill me in so I can order some. Need the scoop on Drivers and Lenses to buy!
Another important thing to know is the process used to silver the galvo mirrors. I've seen galvo mirrors that are obviously deep purple transparent. That means that most of the BluRay energy will go right through them!
James.
Lucky my galvo mirrors have broke, so I need new mirrors on the 6800's and the G120's I honestly would like to replace the amps for both, just old tech even when I got them 15 years ago. well I'd like to not use the G120's either. I know they have to be re-mirrored for the 405. Wish George would return my email about 445 diode supply.

I also recommend using the Dicros from OneStopLaser as he buys real high quality stock, not sure on the 405nm though.. I've used his dicros for years. I am not sure on how well they work on Diode colors either.. I have some Reflect Red here or in the Garage, and also a Pass Red Reflect blue Green somewhere.. I have no Idea where I have the 100's of gratings and dicros.. hope they aren't lost forever. OMG so I don't know if his dicros will work at all.. but if they do, they will work well and hell of alot cheaper than the site I see today. and he will cut them to size you want
