Wasn"t quite sure where to post this, but it is a little more detail about "where I fit" in this hobby. I have been in this just long enough to have learned that I know practically nothing. But this is not really a problem because I have accepted that my participation will be primarily as one who appreciates the end product . . . the laser shows. I have found quite a bit of helpful info in this forum, but I have learned that most of you in this community are highly experienced in development of hardware and software. I get the impression that most of you get as much pleasure (if not more) from these aspects as from using the end product. As a practical matter I will accept that you guys will engineer and produce the cars, and I will enjoy the ride. Now I do enjoy "tinkering" so I do hope to learn enough odds and ends to toy with the hardware and software somewhat. And it is toward that end that will prompt me to ask some questions occasionally that may seem stupid. Please give me a little latitude. I recognize that this puts me in the position of being someone who "takes" but has little to "give". I will not abuse this, and hope that I will occasionally have something to give.
By the way I have a 300mw RGB projector, Riya DAC, and use primarily Spaghetti, ILD SOS and LaserCam software. And I do appreciate the help and advice I have been given directly by a number of you in this community; and of course the help this forum in general has provided me.
