Greetings all, I am marcelo and although I was always interested the laser show, just now trying to enter it, come here looking for information and I parerece excellent at what came as new that I have some doubts that I can not resolve despite being reading in the forum.
I understand that Laserboy uses audio card represent the voltage and power levels manage Galvos, but ... Laserboy generates the "sound" directly from a vector image ?, I can create my own images? imagine if I do not understand as "load" in Laserboy ... surely it is simpler from what I understand, but I can not resolve those doubts.

You can use LaserBoy to make your own art. You can also import art from DXF files.

You can then save your own art as a wave file that will play on a modified sound device.

Thank you very much for answering James, I was experimenting with my sound card and my computer and I was surprised how well it works !, Laserboy dxf transforming a vector image into sound and can do a test with the oscilloscope to make a quick test, now if, I have much more clear how it works and I still work and experiment with homemade Galvos.
