well its almost done.. .

I have been busy with yard work for the past 2 weeks..
we pulled a tree out and dug a big ol' hole for a new patio we are building..

im finding it more difficult that first expected..

good animation  is hard to come by.. i think i may go back to using ild files that are out in the world.. at least the standard beam stuff.

Speaking of beam, here's a LaserWave tip- call up LW and set it for 6ch generation.
Set the frame rate to 20 (instead of 17) and generate plot 1001. This plot is just a
static circle drawn at 100Hz (20fps works well beacause it's a factor of 100). The choice
of color scheme is what makes it look good in beam. Use LaserBoy to call up the wave and
save it as ILDA (make sure to go in the user i/f visuals menu and select the save ILDA 4,5
option before saving so it will open properly in Spaghetti). Some other plots that work well
are 4002 & 4055.

Plot previews... I'm not sure what you mean; you do know that LW's plotter is started by dbl-clicking on the plot space
and plot 3900 is used to preview already existing waves??
Another tip- if you're generating a 3D plot (3100 & 4000's), select the Z as coordinate option so that LB can read the full
3D wave frames.

I think what he means is some sort of visual clue, like an icon, with a tiny picture on it that gives you some idea of what kind of plot you might get by choosing that option. I realize with your continuous functions, your plots don't "look" any one particular way for more than a fraction of a second, but, there may be some general ideas you could get across with an image better than words.

Hmmm... A wall of icons to click on that are linked to the function listbox.
