I'm using 2-LOC red running at 130 mw each & 2-803T BluRay running at 75 mw.
I am using beam combining already. Thats why I was looking for a PBS.

As far as I know you can only combine two beams of the same wave length using a PBS.

HOLD UP ! ! !
you can get 250mW out of each of the red (320mA or so) NO PROBLEM
you can get 100 out of each of the BR NO PROBLEM
as long as you have good heat sinking

my reds are running at a total of 670mA (335 each)
i have run one at 420 before for a short period of time.

I hear all sort of max operating capabilitys for these things. I have no problem turning them up. I just don't want to cook them in the first hour of operation. As far as heat sinks I think I have pleanty.

Well it's been a while since I posted, so here is an update.

I turned all the lasers up and it looks great.
I finished painting the case
I mounted the optics and changed out my mirrors with new ones that reflect 405nm.
I got my amp back, but there is still a problem, 1 channel works intermittently.
That is the worst type of problem to trouble shoot.
I am going to mount the electronics this weekend.

BlinkenLights here your pics.
I still have a lot of work to do, and I'm waiting on a few parts too, but it's coming along quite well.

I actually saw an image this weekend.  ;D ;D :D :D

Some time back we were discussing a USB to TTL converter, well I think I found one cheep. Check this out.

The other pick off is for the Machita Diffraction Grating. I still need to make a mount for it.

Man! That looks great!

Dual reds and dual BluRays! WOW.

Lumia and diff gratings.... You've got it all going on there.

It looks nice and solid but also very portable.

Hey I just had an idea.....

Since you're a pilot, you should turn it around and get some payback....

Go battery powered and shoot beam shows down at the ground!  ;D

James.  :)
