I just ordered 2000 tweeters!

What is wrong with me? ???

You should make one giant tweeter speaker box out of them and the next time some dude pulls up to you in some car with way too much bass, you should tweet him out.

Actually, these were just too cool to pass up!

I plan on using these in future line source array designs.

Years ago, I bought about 1000 little full range drivers. So far I have only made two sets of speakers with them, using 72 in one pair and 32 in another.

I could nail those 'cars that go boom' with over 120dB of Wendy O Williams ripping an electric
guitar in half with a chainsaw (while still plugged in)- now that's art!!! O0

I don't really understand how I got these!

Since I ordered more than $98 worth of stuff, THEY paid the shipping !!!

There is NO WAY these got to my house via FedEx for less than $100 !!!

Think about what the actual cost is to make those and still make a profit.

I was there. The factory I was at pays their workers .30/hr, but that includes your food and bed.

I was told that is good pay too.

That's surplus in a down market for ya.  There has to be much more than 5 cents worth of materials and energy in those already, not including any human expense.

I am digging these tweeters!  ;D

I hooked up a pair of them to my bi-amped system in the basement.

I'm surprised by how low I can set the crossover and still get response from them and how LOUD just two of them can be!

To put this into Laser-Terminology....

This is like getting 2000 kick-ass blue lasers, for practically nothing, that are brighter than you thought they could be!  ;D

Now I have a way to really get a feel for what these tweeters can do!

There are 36 tweeters in each line.

These things are LOUD! They can make your teeth ache!  :o

I still have to bring my other active crossover down from the other bi-amped system in the living room.

Fortunately these crossovers are two-way stereo, and three-way mono!

I'm going to hook up everything tomorrow and let it rip!  ;D

This will be my first tri-amped speaker system!  ;D

Eventually I will cut a slot in the front of these panels and permanently mount the tweeters flush with the surface.
