They're not man boobs. They're "it" boobs with adjustable nipples.

Sorry no-esc. This is your first thread.

And look what we've done to it!  %)

"MOOOOBSSSS"

LOL

James no worries.. feel free :)

So hopefully the scanners will be here in about 10days.

I also ordered this "Just the board not the LCD at the bottom"http://www.spacelas.com/EN/conponent.html

It has DMX connections and 2 ILDA inputs.

I am thinking of making my laser projector wireless... Using an old custom test box I got from a ham radio friend the other day and building the DIP Switch controls into it.. and making a nice set of switches and knobs for free form etc... Its late I should be sleeping.. heading in to work at 10pm tonight.. Then i will do up a drawing of said control box...

My idea is I have a cool box with knobs and switches (old dj showing)  that can connect to the PC.

But the projector will only have a power cable ... and I can place it without having to run an insane amount of wires...j

ramble ramble..

That's one ILDA port, as an inny and an outy.

What that board does is route the ILDA pin-out to individual pin headers for X, Y, r, g, and b. It also lets you play a bunch of frames that are stored in that big eprom chip and I believe there might be a microphone and some sort of audio responce mode.

Cool thanks James...

-Hopefully I Can reprogram the EEPROM chip (crosses fingers)

-I hope to expand the MIC option into a selectable LINE IN/MIC.  For better response.

-If I can reprogram the EEPROM chip with my own shows for standalone mode that would be pretty cool.

Oh the sound card I had at home was a 5.1 PCI card.. so it wont help me atm...

---At work.. Off to find an Electronic Load  that is in calibration... bbs

I don't think you will be able to reprogram the chip. Even if you could, it's not really show material. It is a collection of static frames.

You can use a 5.1 sound card, if you don't have any interest in adding synchronized stereo audio. You only need 5 out of 6 channels for the laser projector.

{X, Y, r, g, b, other}

I have given out most of the 6 channel systems I made, but I still have the one 300Evil made for me! It has only been in the past few months that I have really gotten into the 8 channel cards.

If you want to be able to load up a bunch of stuff into a tiny device and take it away from a computer, then you should talk to drlava about getting the Riya DAC. It has a memory card slot.

But, if you do that, you will be moving away from LaserBoy and toward the mainstream ideologies of laser display.

for sound sensitive, look for LaserWave software and the ZoofScope, both work with the sound card DAC.

this is not entirely accurate, I have never run an 8 channel sound card, always 5.1 and always with synchronized stereo audio.. using the EzAudDac driver.

If his DMX board and EEPROM are sound sensitive, that may help him toward his first goal, but the RIYA DAC or sound card DAC would certainly help toward the second goal.

Your driver emulates a laser DAC and therefore is great for anyone wanting to use laser software that was written to talk to laser DACs.

LaserBoy writes waves for sound cards and only requires a system to have a multi-channel sound card and its supplied driver.

Some of the RIYA DACs are sound sensitive.  At least their API has the support for it.  It might just be for the PCI cards and not the USB DACs though.  I haven't looked into it any more than seeing it in the API reference.

Nice looking Xs.  I should put some of those in my system to cut down on the Ys.
