I would have to say that
Akron Basement LEM was a smashing success.
I enjoyed every minute of it.
DrLava showed up exactly on time, and was the only guest for about 6 hours or more!
This turned out to be very fortunate, as he got a chance to fully explain a lot of his contributions to the technology.
He turned my CW greenie into an analog modulated greenie!
He also went over his ILD SoS application.
He's really got something there. I must say, he has gone for his own niche'. SoS is not like anything I've ever seen before.
For as complex as it is, the interface is well designed. Once you get what each section is about, the way they connect to each other is very sensible.
I can't yet comment on all of the things it can do, because I'm sure I have not seen anywhere near all of it.
What I would say is that SoS identifies a nice set of parameters that can be manipulated in real time, to control just about all of the factors that effect the visual quality of any vector art you open.
For as new as this app is, I would say that the level of sophistication that is already here is very original, useful and impressive.
It also tells me I need to get busy!
James.
