Hay, man! These guys have a Nitrogen laser that can cut 1/2" plate steel like it was paper!

I've seen it!

It's bigger than this one!



They also have a 2D laser scanner that you can lay a flat cut-out part onto and in seconds you have a super accurate CAD drawing of it on your computer; complete with center lines and arc center points.

It's fun to see it do its thing. It uses a low power red laser and it is obviously scanning little circles and lines all around the part.

Plus the fact, a good friend of mine was their IT guy for quite a while. He has since moved on to be an IT at AT; as in AudioTechnica.

That's just a stock picture. The real thing at OGS is much bigger. There was a whole cage full of 6 foot tall N2 bottles. I saw it in action. The table is like 8 foot by 16 foot.
