Ok, Pot calling Kettle black.

FYI I did use a dummy load. Like you "I didn't know what I was doing" or I wouldn't have blown them up. I simply over drove them trying to get out as much as possible.

I know what I did now and learned from it.

Me too. I thought about buying new diodes and trying to fix them. The diode is easy to get to and replace.
