So far so good.....

Notice the 2 missing 100K pots!  %)

This board has been tested for proper DC/DC power to all the IC pins and the negative voltage regulator in and out.

OK. I have one of those 6 channel boards as well. So I will use that when I test and calibrate this correction amp.

I would like to announce to both Lasersmith and satje that I have ordered the parts I need to finish the correction amps. I also found a nice box for satje. Should be about a weak or less from Thailand.

Sorry for the delay. The 100K replacement trimmers never got here.

The DAC supports it.  It's the program they are selling that doesn't support it.

Doesn't seem like a big deal to me.  They are selling the hardware and just throwing in the software so you can do something with it.  It's clear from the website that they are throwing in freeware and open source software.  I'm not sure why Bill would care unless he just wants to have his name printed on it since it was his idea or something like that.

Huh.

Maybe they should just hack Spaghetti, strip out any trade names and give that away for free.

Just a thought.

I don't know where you came up with that.  They are just bundling Pangolin freeware and they are advertising as such.

I don't know. It seems odd that they offer a sound card DAC with absolutely no utility for it except an old program that they don't own or profit from.

Why is that odd?  They add laser show software to their package and it doesn't cost them a thing.  All they really are doing is selling the sound card DAC and scanner they are making and adding the extra junk as fluff.  It's probably just some dude trying to make a buck.
