If I had to guess, I would say that all three lasers are TTL. The only reason I say that is because they are not clearly identified as analog. AND that little DMX controller with the Eprom full of frames is pretty standard with all of the Chinese scanners. As far as I know it doesn't do anything but full brightness on all the colors. It's not impossible that the lasers have analog modulation, but it's not very likely. I could be wrong.

Other than that, you get a nice assortment of stuff in a lovely lavender box! You get scanners & amps, power supplies, switches and key lock, dichros, mirrors and mounts, lasers with heat syncs, ILDA in-out, DMX in-out. It looks like a very good start. It should do something for you with no modifications and if you wanted to improve upon what's there, you certainly could.

Look at it like this: A little more than a year ago, the scanners and amps alone would cost you $400.

But even with TTL this is bargain. Only question... are speed & power up to spec??

its down to $347... i am fairly certain the lasers are TTL, but you could always swap out the drivers... and I think swapping the 405 out for a 200mw module along with feeding a bit of the "blue" signal to the green to inject a bit of green into the violet to give you a decent blue... definitely worth the price I think, its hard to not buy some

i talked about this in the other PL thread with the 600mW Chinajektor. they all are not so optimisctic about that

I wonder how good the laser optics are. Like, what are the beam diameters, how round and clean are the spots?

BluRay works find for graphics. Just shoot at a big piece of white paper or a sheet washed in a color brightening detergent. The 405nm fluoresces as bright blue!

TTL isn't that bad when you have 3 colors.  The iShow DAC I have only has TTL outputs and when I playback my shows I really don't notice that compared to when I used the analog output DACs.  I think that scanner would be perfect for most people who just want to mess around with one at home.  For discos, the same goes, cause drunk people don't care.

Sure, of course! Its getting a new home in Germany. I think i will order it on 1st February when my CC is getting the full limit again
