Install it.

Make sure you have a decent mic and speakers or headphones.

Headphones are better because there is no feeback echo into your mic.

Sign up and find your friends!

You do not need a mic and headphones to sign up. You can communicate with just text chat. But that sux.

If you have a webcam, it is very good about transmitting your image to other Skype users.

If I can figure it out, anyone can!

I'm not saying I'm stupid. I just don't think like anyone else I know and I'm incredibly narrow-minded and simply refuse to see things any other way. That is probably my most charming characteristic.

Yes. But the sound quality is often much better and it's free all over the whole world.

Plus, it is easy to create a group of people and all be in the same conversation.

real keyboard (let alone a tiny cell kb); I've been known to write docs down on paper and scan them as an image to
send to someone! TTY, a keyboard-based communication via telephone was developed for the specific needs of the deaf...

OK!

We have a few people who are Skype connected.

So let's make some kind of schedule.

I don't have a decent nipple-cam yet, but that doesn't matter. One of the nice features of Skype is the ability to share your Desktop. So if YOU want to run LaserBoy, it is possible for me to see your running application and I can help to guid you through it.

How about tonight!   Sunday 23rd January.... I have been trying to use laserboy to make beams and abstracts.  I am so confused... about how to use laserboy...

You know we should sit down and do a record a desktop with voice and what not ... and put it on youtube...

A video How-To do something useful with LaserBoy...

They talk about you all the time and they go around claiming that PL collectively invented the sound card DAC.  They also like to have nightly discussions about the ILDA file format and why it should have started at format 4 to begin with.
