I really like the way this turned out.

I have two more that just need to be assembled and tested. One of them is in the plastic box seen here:

I just had to get this one done. Look at the post time!

I have a total of 9 steel DB25F switch boxes

And one other box that will work just fine.

I have just about enough pcb to make all of that.

I might have to order a few more DC/DC.

  A great way to re-use those old switchboxes- looks fantastic! Too bad you can't easily access the audio jacks on the soundcard.

BTW there are 3 DACs here. I have promised to make three DACs. F gets first choice, C second and G third. If anyone doesn't like his choice, I will try to make one he likes. I have the parts to make more in the steel switch boxes. All the rest of you, can take whatever I have or ask!

I would really like to get these shipped on Monday! ... 2/22/2010!  ;D

There's a place here called Akron Antique Radio. The guy who owns it is a total bottle head. He doesn't believe in using sand!

Anyway... He has an unbelievable collection of old parts. He lets me dig through his boxes of groovy knobs. I think I will go there again and get a nice collection of one-of-a-kind-weirdoes to finish the rest of the switch box DACs.

I have heard now from C and G, but not F. So I'll just get started on another switch box!
