I don't see anything that look like a laser. It just looks like video projection to me.

That is also video projection. There is a camera facing the wall and the computer can "see" the people and find their hands. The video is projected on the same wall and there is an alignment between the camera and the projector, much like the alignment between a touch screen and the video display underneath it.
