correction amp kit
« on: October 10, 2012, 02:49:20 pm »

Hello friends.

Contentment of participating in the forum.

First to apologize for my expression with the language, I use a translator.
I have built my first projector, but I use Ishow with bad results. I have bought Sound Card C-Media CM106. 6 channels.

But I need to build the correction amplifier and I don't know the diagram of the circuit and the necessary components for it.
Gary, recommended me to ask in this forum.

Not I am very good with the electronics, but with the diagram of the circuit and the necessary components, I believe that it could mount it without problems.
Can they help me? :-\

Best Regards.
Juanma.

Hi juanma666. Welcome to the LaserBoy Forum.

Read the whole thread there are some updates and corrections toward the end.
http://laserboy.org/forum/index.php?topic=277.0

You might want to get a sound card with the C-Media 6206 chip. The generic sound device that has that chip is usually called a USB SND8.

You will have 8 channels. So you can make 8 channel waves with stereo sound in channels 7 & 8!

Hello James.

My card that of 6 channels is, is there a lot of difference in reproduction quality with that of 8 channels?
I want it to substitute Ishow and to use software Spaguetti in a projector DiY.

Is there some form of getting the kit of correction amp, already mounted?
I believe that I won't be able to develop the circuit and the necessary components for myself...  :-\

Best Regards.
Juanma.

There is nothing really wrong with the 6 channel C-Media 106 chip except that it is older and not as well supported by drivers.

Look around. You might find someone knocking off a LaserBoy correction amp kit!
