the more I use it, the less I think it needs a mouse! :)  Ok, there are a couple things that would be faster.  But not many.

James, is there a way to seperate the frame manipulation code from the UI?  Or is it too meshed together?  If it was possible to put a C or COM wrapper on the guts I or someone else could probably write a GUI for it.  I don't really have time to do that right now but it's a thought.

I can understand that you can be more precise with a keyboard when tweaking.  But, with a mouse you can instantly place a point anywhere on the screen and then tweak it with the keyboard.

im not even worried about the "drawing' i want a gui that makes sense instead of the current menu system.
I know that the reason there are so many menu's is because there are only so many keys on the keyboard.. well its geting to the point that laserboy is SO fully featured and does so many things, that a new interface just makes sense..

I'll put a keyboard driven file menu picker in there before I go to mouse support!

There is still a lot of work to be done on some of the fundamental standard stuff in the core!

I'm working on the 8 channel upgrades right now.

I split my time between soldering, coding blogging and sleeping!  ::)

sleeping? well there is your main problem, james there is plenty of time to sleep when you are dead!

if you spent less time sleeping we could spend more time pointing and clicking!

i think i speak for everyone when i say we are very disappointed  in you

I think a mouse interface would be great. I'm an Autocad user and bounce between the mouse and the keyboard. Sometimes its easier to use the keyboard and sometimes the mouse. Just my 2 cents.

By the way I lost it when I saw the wooden mouse. Good job thesk8nmidget.
